Reason for Visit: Sales (New)

I recommend this dealer: Yes

Employee(s) Dealt With: Larry Oaks

My Review of Dave Arbogast:

My husband did the original deal with Larry for the last van we purchased in 09. That was a good experience so he decided to try again. This time we needed one that would handle better in the snow. Larry had the solution...Just order one with AWD. We had no idea they put this in a full size van . He assured him we would be very pleased with it, it would not be any higher or harder to climb in and the gas use would not be any greater. He was right on all accounts.

I had never been a fan of car salesmen but after meeting Larry I had a change of heart. He knows people and his product. I was impressed that he was so down to earth and not pushy. All of the salesmen in our area make a pest of themselves all for a sale . this is a total turn-off for both of us. It's no wonder my husband decided to travel almost four hours to buy this van too. We'll be back again for the next one and possibly for a replacement for my Tahoe next year.

Conversion Van Marketing Association

The Conversion Van Marketing Association (CVMA), an industry group established to raise consumer awareness of Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana conversion vans, recently updated their website.

On Saturday, CVMA President Rod McSweeney, CEO/Chairman, announced the re-launch of www.todaysconversionvan.com - the industry's only consumer website dedicated to conversion vans.

The website now features a new, contemporary "look and feel" and a dealer locator with expanded search functionality. Other enhancements include English and Spanish-language…

It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime for my father and I. However, as we pulled into Dallas on Sunday, a foul smell in the air had me thinking otherwise.

The Super Bowl wasn't so "super" for this hombre and his padre.  Thank you NFL.

As we arrived to the stadium, we discovered the fire marshal had apparently shut down the section of the stadium we had seats in. In total…

My Review of Dave Arbogast Conversion Vans:

We found our van online and with the help of the knowledgeable staff we were able to purchase this vehicle easily along with a great financing rate. So far we have absolutely no complaints, only compliments. The staff was friendly and Larry Oaks, the person we dealt with the most, was very friendly and helpful. Nice smooth transaction everything straight forward and up front. No hidden fees or agendas. Good work guys. Keep it going. We will recommend you to others.

The Super Bowl in a Conversion Van

It's Super Bowl week!

Can you believe it?

I mean heck, I still haven't been able to settle down from all the excitement Sunday's Pro Bowl game filled me with. (Note: hint of sarcasm included.)

The big game is right around the corner and Pittsburgh Steeler and Green Bay Packer fans alike have begun flocking to Dallas. With that said, hotels are filling up quicker than you can say Troy Polamalu's last name.

Probably one of the most talked about aspects of this year's championship game is how expensive everything is. Package deals (including airfare, hotel, and a rental car) are costing upwards of $1,700 a person. That doesn't even include the cost of the tickets.  Heck, some parking spots are even running as much as $1,000!

Considering how expensive this year's big game is, we here at Dave Arbogast Conversion Vans would like to applaud Green Bay Packer fans for both their ingenuity and dedication to the art of mastering Super Bowl accommodations...

Roadtrek Take Me Away!

Sleet, freezing rain, snow, ice, more sleet, high winds, when is it ever going to end?

It took me an hour to get the ice off my car this morning, and before I left work, it was covered again.  On top of that, now snow is moving into the area, and high winds are expected to cause numerous and long lasting power outages.

I didn't sign up for this did you?

Some people enjoy this stuff but most of them live in Minnesota, or Wisconsin, or the Dakotas, or other places where they deal with this all the time. We don't get enough of it to get used to it, and let me go on record I don't like it one little bit.

It's easy to sit around and do a little daydreaming about warmer weather and about being on the road. The Roadtrek Class B Camper van, the number one selling class B in North America for the past two decades, is the perfect vehicle to escape...
