The RS E-trek has come to rescue us from hotel rooms that loot our wallets and gargantuan motor-homes that are hard to drive and loot our wallets. Made by Roadtrek Motorhomes of Kitchner, Ontario, the RS E-trek Class B Motorhome sleeps two to seven people in environmentally sound comfort.
Roadtrek begins the E-trek with a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis including a low-carbon emissions 3.0 liter Mercedes diesel engine. Roadtrek supplies luxury features like an electrically-powered rear sofa that reclines at the touch of a button, a flat-screen television set that swings away from the wall for a centered view, an inductive stove that uses an electric current to heat only a metal pot or pan and not the area around it and instant hot water anytime it's needed for a pleasant drink.
The E-trek features two floor plans that include a refrigerator, sink, microwave, television set, toilet, shower and stove, all arranged with attention to the happiness and well-being of the travelers. Comfort options for the E-trek include a powered, 13.5 foot awning, a screen for the door opening and a permanent cabinet with shelves and a place for a wardrobe .
The E-trek offers the real joy of a recreational vehicle. It can go off grid for extended periods of time into places a larger recreational vehicle could never reach. You can drive into a remote mountain lake and stay there for days without the need of any hookups.
The E-trek has a 250 watt solar cell built into the roof which charges the battery during the daytime whether it's cloudy or bright and eight AGM (absorption glass mat), sealed batteries that give better performance for longer periods of time than other types of batteries.
A generous 5000 watt inverter changes the alternating current generated by the engine to direct current that the battery needs to recharge. The E-trek comes with an optional EFOY fuel cell generator which will charge the battery continuously, day and night and optional Lithium Ion batteries for more time off the grid. You can count on hours of power and quick recharging with the E-trek. The enhanced electrical system means the E-trek doesn't use propane so there are no open flames.
Next time you're on the road, ask yourself if the trip would be made easier and more comfortable in a Roadtrek RS E-trek. The answer will always be 'Yes'.
