Airstream Interstate Grand Tour Twin Bed Review

The Airstream Interstate Grand Tour Twin Bed is made for touring and traveling in style. The Grand Tour seats two and the rear bed can be left as two twin beds or converted into a full size. Take the style of Mercedes-Benz and the functionality of Airstream with you any where you may go.

The Grand Tour has beautiful interiors to help the road feel like an extension of home. Corian® countertops, Italian wood cabinets and stainless steal appliances create a fresh look. Create a delicious meal with the stove or drawer microwave.  The synthetic wood flooring can take a beating and make for easy clean up if something spills. Have a comfortable and luxurious ride in the heated Ultra-leather®  seats and the Air Ride Suspension technology system.

The cockpit is spacious but keeps everything in reach. The center dashboard has all the climate controls for the cockpit and a large touchscreen. Set your destination with the touchscreen or change the radio station with the steering wheel buttons. The rear view mirror is actually a screen with a video from the rear camera so you can always be aware of what is behind you.

This Grand Tour includes 3 TVs and a centralized player for entertainment. The 2 TVs in the cabin are on adjustable mounts that can extend out and angled for your viewing pleasure. The other is mounted above the cockpit for a more theatrical experience.

Mercedes-Benz has an arrange of standard safety features; the Load-Adaptive ESP® system, collision prevention assist, rear and side-view cameras, and driver and passenger front and side airbags. A fire extinguisher is located directly to your left from the entry step.  A centralized heating/cooling system and lighting console keeps the cabin comfortable and safe as you move throughout.

Instead of rear seats, there are two beds that can be converted into one if desired. Sleep outside without being outside with the rear and side doors open and close the powered screen doors to let the breeze through and keep the bugs out. And let out the arm-less power-awning for a comfortable outdoor space.
