Class B Heckman

The other day, I had the opportunity to sit down with some local Class B motorhome enthusiasts from the Piqua, Ohio area.

Bob and Mary Heckman have been traveling across the country for years in an RV, but a few a years ago, they opted to jump on the Class B bandwagon and haven’t looked back since.

Bob said he and Mary have visited every state in the country. He added they always try to take a new route anytime they decide to hit the open road.

“There’s just too much to see,” said Bob.

Throughout their travel, the Heckan’s have been gone everywhere from Death Valley  to Alaska. They’ve even participated in a motorhome caravan. The couple has also made it a point to drive their Class B out to Fresno, California every year to visit family.

The Heckman’s currently conduct their adventures in a 2007 Pleasure Way Class B motorhome. Prior to that, they spent their days traveling in a number of motorhomes, from a your more luxurious Class As to the more modest Class Cs. Now that the couple is in a Class B however, they couldn’t be more thrilled.

“It’s nice not having to worry about towing a car,” said Bob. “I never enjoyed hooking up a car and towing it.”
